Sam Bankman-Fried Lobbies Trump Supporters for Pardon
Sam Bankman-Fried, the co-founder of the bankrupt FTX exchange, is reportedly lobbying Trump supporters and seeking a pardon from the new President. To achieve this, he has started to build an image as a Republican supporter. Bankman-Fried was in charge of significant political donations, amounting to $100M during FTX’s heyday, which may give him favor with both US parties. However, his donations to the Democratic party did not result in a pardon at the end of Joe Biden’s mandate, prompting him to shift his focus to the Republican side.
Sam Bankman-Fried Placed in Solitary After Unauthorized Tucker Carlson Interview
Sam Bankman-Fried, the former CEO of FTX, has been placed in solitary confinement at Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center after participating in an unauthorized interview with right-wing commentator Tucker Carlson. The interview, which was released on Carlson’s YouTube channel, gained significant traction, amassing over 730,000 views. A U.S. Bureau of Prisons representative confirmed to The New York Times that the interview had not been authorized, leading to Bankman-Fried’s transfer to solitary confinement. Prison regulations strictly control inmate communications, dictating who can contact them and through what means.
